This story in the Dallas Morning News, reports that former border agent, Ignacio Ramos, was beaten severely over the weekend in his cell.
 
Why can't these men,Ramos and Alonso Compean, be allowed to appeal from the safety of their own homes ? They pose no threat to any law abiding people. What is persecutor Sutton and the Bush administration afraid of from these two "dangerous criminals" ? Certainly, far more dangerous criminals than these two have been allowed to appeal their cases in relative freedom - after posting a bond,with a "ankle bracelet" -why are they so exceptional ?

 With a story so compelling, it boggles my mind as to why virtually none of the big,less bombastic, radio conservatives will take this on. If it is such a great example of the American justice system, then why not sing the praises of it's execution ?

 This whole thing stinks and I pray that Rep. Tancredo can affect some sort of positive action in this whole thing. Where's Rush ? Can anyone out there get to him on air so at least it gets some national attention ?

Please go to this site in support of them and send a message to president bush. Let him know that,just as the American Fighting Man cannot be expected to be successful when those who should be supporting him are putting through cowardly resolutions, neither can our border agents be expected to do their job when they know they could be locked up for making an erreor in judjement. I'm praying for pres. Bush too. I'm praying that my monumental sense of disappointment in him will come to an end.

I believe that you are a man who cares about justice.From everything that I've learned about this case,it is at least hugely questionable that these men recieved justice and I am 100% foursquare in my conviction that it is a travesty for them to be sentenced so harshly and without the right to remain free while they appeal this decision.

  Mr. President,I plead for you to awaken my faith in you and your administration,as it was shattered with the news of this event.Don't wait until hours before your leaving,to pardon these two patriots,like others have done for the sake of criminals.Stand up proudly before the American people and make the statement that the sentries at the gate -the ones protecting us from the evil of drug smugglers,cop-killers and even terrorists as in 2000 with the "Millenium Bomber"- are one with national security and they will not be forsaken by you,and if you can set it into law,by any other administration in the future.

  Do this and you will have my allegiance and the loyalty of millions more.But most importantly,you will be acting in a very just and noble way on behalf of the cause of liberty and American security.

 Today on the Medved show your intrepid host referred to imprisoned border agents, Ramos & Compean, in sympathetic tones and insisted that he had not read any official court transcript. He also did not mention any of the other very easy to find info that indicates the very strong possibility these two patriots are being railroaded. So, apparently this is a case that doesn't warrant Mr. Medveds' attention. 

   Medved says border agents Ramos & Compean are guilty and deserve what they got. Why not sing the praises of this great action of the US "justice" sytem then Mr. Medved ? I'll tell you why. Because it is an embrassment and that is why you won't take calls on it from people who want real justice for these two patriots.

  One can only imagine how much success we would have at the border regarding real criminal activity if the powers that be were to pursue those bringing chemical death to our kids as hard as they went after Ramos and Compean. It makes any common sense patriot sick to think of so called Americans giving immunity to a repeat and continuing killer of human souls, just so he can testify against two men, (whose experience is a lesson to their former coworkers not to persue criminals) put them in jail and then sue the US treasury for millions more on top of the waste that the trial amounted to. I mean, they sought this scum out, and volunterred immunity for his testimony.
 
   A nation that does this is self destructive and bordering on suicidal. Considering the anti-Americanism on display in congress everyday I am not surprised but it is not a little disenchanting to see a person I view as a champion of the good,the ethical, the virtuous, to so blatantly avoid a story of this much importance to national security.

  So Michael Medved, if this is a great and wonderful example of the American justice system, why aren't you having entire programs on the subject ? I mean, after you get to the horrors of "tagging" and deep behind the mystery of "Bigfoot". You're not the only one, I know, but it is somehow more offensive when someone of your cutting clarity on many issues, is so willing to bury a terrible injustice under the rug for the sake of...for the sake of... Say, what did the president talk to you guys about during your visit to Washington D.C. last year ? Hugh Hewitt and Laura Ingraham don't mention this either.

  I'm not suggesting anything, I just want an answer. Two American patriots, former border agents Ramos and Compean, are paying the price of 11 and 12 years of their freedom,which will virtually destroy their lives and the lives of their children, for what amounts to a procedural error in judgment, and you are virtually silent in the crusade to liberate them / won't show us what dangerous criminals they are and that we need to be protected from them.

  I see this as a blemish on what could be a near 100% record when it comes to your fearless defense of those who protect us from evil, and it disturbs me because I hear no explanation. A case of this magnitude demands one, no, it screams for one.  When one considers what a truly chilling affect this will have on border enforcement, one can't help but wonder if there are ulterior motives involved.

   Former border agents Ramos and Compean, as I have read on this site in support of them, have exemplary records and have recently been the victims of false rumors spread by whoever wishes for them to just go away and rot in their cells. That is horrific, and not anything that makes me proud to be an American.

   This one event has caused me to lose faith in my president and is as demoralizing as the Alien Gonzalez attrocity, which still haunts this countries collective conscience, and I do not want to give up the belief that my country is a more just, than unjust, nation.

   The Duke "rape" case, Scooter Libby (You called Fitzgerald a "Great American" when he charged Libby. Have you ever retracted that ?), child molesters being let loose upon helpless children everyday, the Rush Limbaugh witchhunt are just a few among many crimes against the citizenry occuring everyday in the name of the law. And now this. Please explain to us why we should think of this as justice, because I just don't see it.

  But I do see you running away from the subject and acting like it doesn't exist.

   Still, the fact remains Mr. Limbaugh that these "unserious" people are encouraging the enemy.That is all they have to do,as they've done without cease for almost four years now,to achieve their goal: A complete and utter failure in Iraq.

  It is more than a lack of seriousness,however, which plagues them I'm afraid. Rather, it is an open and unflinching desire to sabotage an American war effort.They are not fools.They know exactly what they are doing and virtually no one will call them on it,even though there is no precedent that I know of in our history, when LEADERS IN CONGRESS, were doing these types of destructive things to our country in time of war.Accepting of course for Viet Nam and we all know what that led to,or rather,"we" don't.

  That is the problem.The American public at large does not realize what a horrible thing it was for us to desert our friends there and allow them to be murdered wholesale or enslaved by the fascists hordes.

   I don't know if Churchill dealt with Chamberlain directly,or if circumstance led to his view winning the day, but I DO know that it would be much better for everyone, if America united behind "The good fight" now, instead of waiting for the inspiration that will (hopefully) come from the next 9/11.

  To do that we must speak in plain language about what it is these people are doing. They must be shamed with the blunt force of the truth or at least have the nature of their destructiveness revealed in no uncertain terms.

  The pro-wars' lexicon and parlance must include terms like appeasement,collaboration and when it comes to extreme cases like what the NY Times,it's sources,Cindy Sheehan,J.Kerry,Dink Turbin,Ted Kennedy and others have done and said,it must also include the words sedition and treason.

  Not for the purposes of putting them on trial necessarily,although I don't see why not,but mostly for the sake of injecting a clear and undeniable deffinition of what it is these people are, so that the American people can have something other than the notion,the lie, that it is legitimate to damage an ongoing war effort with self serving,lacking in any viable alternative,never ending attacks on that effort and the ones charged with its prosecution.

  I'll get it started,Senators Biden and Levin are knowingly assisting our enemies and should be investigated for the crime of sedition,ie: More American fighting men and women will die,are dying,due to the actions of these two allies of the enemy.

    This post by BLACKFIVE points out a significant quote by W that clearly indicates we are at the end of our "turn the other cheek" rope,with Iran and Syria, to mix a metaphor or two. The democrats want George Bush to lose. The American Fighting Man wants America to win. Which side do you fall on ?

   I watched,on Fox after the speech, dems like Turbin is a d*ick  and Tom Vil What a Sack continue to advocate for the modern version of Viet Nam, that would lead to a similar series of  mass murders, that the pullout from that winnable war led to. America,led by Teddy the snorkler Kennedy, deserted the Viet Namese people and the American Fighting Man 30+ tears ago and George Bush,God bless him, does not want to be the leader of this country during another such act of shame.
 
   He is wrong on many things, but on this one, George Bush is right. We must win. Think about it: Those opposed to this "escalation" are saying that America cannot win. America cannot win ? Think about that. The greatest nation on earth,now and forever,is incapable of beating a bunch of mass murdering savages who hide behind women and children. He said it right, get ready for a long bloody slog but, America can,and, with our support,will, win this absolutely necessary campaign to rid a huge chunk of the mideast, a region of a thousand years of hate and killing, of the number one proponents of that hate and killing and start an unprecidented era of freedom,prosperity and alliance with the west which will result in a better world for our children and grandchildren.

   Don't do it America.    I was born in 1961.   I'm not filled with hate,I just don't know how to look into my kids eyes and say,"The people that count two strikes on you for being black are just the same as those who condemn homosexuality." It just ain't so.

  I thought Dennis Prager stated it well,(paraphrasing)"A person has the right to take a shower and know that no one is ogling her or him." There are too many good people who are not homosexual to insist on recruiting those who are, and the fact that there are homosexuals,in affect welcome,in the armed services deffinitely discourages some straights from serving.And yes,to be consistent,they should be discharged if it is shown that they lied when they enlisted. I realize that only attrition will take care of those who respect the rules and don't engage/get caught in unlawful behavior.

  I have no "voodoo" fear of homosexuals but the simple fact is that we are normalizing this destructive and painful way of life more and more every day.A homosexual man or woman should be encouraged to seek help and counsel from their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ rather than be treated as though they are the same as anyone else and should persue the attainment of a family or any other institution, that they cannot participate in naturally,ie: without the rest of us bending our morals/vision, so as to accomodate the deviated,which further assists them down their road to destruction.

  I don't give a damn about the "good intentions" of those making up insulting and non-analogous analogies, like the treatment of women and blacks by the military in days of yor,to justify the willful participation of sexual deviants in our armed forces.I just want them to open their eyes and look past the end of their noses.Decisions like these have consequences.Do a search on -polygamy/supreme court - and you will see that the perverts who celebrated the official endorsement (enforcement ?) of sodomy by our government, will see to it that that decision leads to your neighbor experiencing wedded bliss with his schnauzer.Laugh now,but when did you first realize that the current acceptance/indoctrination of liberal dogma, concerning homosexuality, would be the order of the day ? I never dreamt it. If you're over 40,did you have a clue that things would be like this even 20 years ago ? "They" get everything piecemeal my friends. They may argue about how wide each incremental step should be, but they all agree about where those steps should lead: The total and complete decay of moral judgement by anyone, of anyone.

  It doesn't matter that you have homosexual friends who are completely without any sinister intent. Most people who don't like cigarette smoke are not of the "anti-smoke nazi lobby", but we still live under a government enforced system of laws designed to remove the need for people to deal one on one with each other.(By the way, that same gub'ment people barrier is coming to a ham steak near you.)

  There must remain to be SOME institution in America that still has at least the vestiges of the traditions of this great nation.To me,the United States Military is the best example of an organization that has led the way socially and usually for the better.It is time to resist the "progressive" movement of normalizing the unnatural....That and I don't want some guy rubbing his "IGBM"("Inter-Gender-Ballistic-Missile") on me.  carry on

  That's just one line from a great story by Michael Yon last January. I hope you're reading the mil blogs often. I need to read them more. If half the country....no,if one quarter of the country had read these kinds of real stories on a regular basis for the last three years, the war would be over and freedom would reign supreme in the middle-east.
