About Kathleen Parker

Following is a response to a poster at this column:  (the continuation being in blue bold)

"Much of the hate mail she got before the election was justified."

I don't "hate" Ms. Parker, I just don't think she fits here at TH. Most of my posts poke fun at her for being a bore, something the left simultaneously has a never ending supply of yet never seems to get enough of, so I joined the popular movement to move her...very far away. Your next point of me wanting to shut her up is misplaced for, I only hold contempt for the notion that she is trustworthy NOT that she should'nt be allowed to ply here wares ANYwhere.

As for the "paid ads masquerading as columns" part, that is apples to oranges. Yes, it is a good point to say, "Well just don't read the phony column.", but, it is quite another to tell us to forgive and forget, what is in many minds, a cardinal sinner on the order of a Benedict Arnold. We Canadians honor and celebrate the old lug every year on his birthday, but I can see why a Yank would hate him. I mean, if your wonderful "education" system taught actual history, you blokes would revile Arnold that is. That leads to my real point: In the current "sociopolitical" environs of modern America (with all out traitors running huge chunks of government, "education", entertainment, information, etc.) it is common practice to have someone do something horrific, like calling those keeping you safe "cold-blooded killers", and then get let off scot free after apologizing, or, in the case of psuedointellectuals like the fair Ms. Parker here -and the afore(not)mentioned piece of crap murtha- she gets to backstab away and then cry foul to her victims for not appreciating her carving style.

I get your argument, I just don't believe in forgive and forget when my own dog just ripped my kids' leg open.Said dog will be welcome no more in MY home, but she'll fit right in at hound pounds like the NYT or Us weakly. THAT is why I find it insulting that she litter TH with her tripe. That, and she really IS boring and w/o an original thought which explains why she mouthed the lefts yacking points, she has none of her own.

statement of fact:"B.Hussein Obama is already in school textbooks and a national day in his honor is being planned yet, he lacks even a rumor of the substance that Sarah Palin has gushing from her every pore." To the extent you think the foregoing nonsense, you have been effectively brainwashed by the kgb media. But then, its victims are always the last to know.Aren't they, K-Park? (that's why you hate it when we mention "Hussein") Think aboot it.

Thank you Airmen, Marines, Soldiers and Sailors

Following is my little Memorial Day 2008 homage to uniformed American personnel, and all who support them, around the world and for all times. If you think it's worth passing on, please do. If not, thanks for reading it anyway. Good night and may God bless the American Fighting Man and his every mission, wherever they may be, throughout this world that would surely be a dark place w/o them.

The uniform, is not the man, Nor pride before him goeth,
Give this day, but once a year, Thanks be to him, let's showeth

They worked, they bled, and died as well,  For mates dead, and survivors,
And oft decree, "No 'hero' me", Such humble, wise pearl divers

So when upon, your eyes they fall,  Our flag so free of nonsense,
Just wish them well, those selfless few, Sweet Liberty,  their recompense

They fought before, they'll fight again,  They struggle now to free us,
From our shallow, thankless ways,  Without them, would God see us ?

'Tis true that  Greater, Love Hath No Man,  Than He Who Lays Down His Life,
"For His Friends" I think it goes, Such was done for all of us, Do we honor their strife ?

Try to honor them each day, our Bill of Rights please read 'em,
Sacred is the author of (not abusers of) our freedom

So next time when, the traffic stinks, Promotions' being shredded,
Be grateful tanks don't roll your streets, Nor girls in school beheaded

Thank you Airman, Thank you Private, Thanks Lieutenant Colonel,
I thank you all in uniform, and wish you life eternal

Amen

To Shell, or Not to Shell Iran is the Question

Would you support a preemptive strike on Iran?
Would I ever ! Which button do I push ?
No, but a "surgical" strike on that Mamoud creep wouldn't hurt my feelings.
Yes, but only if we promise to stop the bombing after 444 days.
No, And why haven't we caught that Rushdie guy yet?
Yes, as long as Bush rides the first bomb into downtown Tehran srceaming,"YEE-HAH !"
Only the parts that already glow.
Yes, if only to give Mrs. Clinton a chance to be against a war from the start.
As long as it's done Democratically, ie: We drop 1 bomb, they blow up 1 mall, etc.
What's your problem man!?! I mean Israel has nukes, so why don't we attack them man!?!
Maybe, but first we gotta take out that cancerous cell at Columbia U.

Start Sedition Trials NOW

Response to this post by "Jay Tea" @ Wizbang blog

Those who are the enemy, of Americas' attempt to defeat her enemies, are the enemy as well.

An American President commited our country to the mission of bringing down a dictatorship, and replacing it with a functional, freedom oriented government. Any attempt to destroy that effort (After the fact that it was set in motion with the approval of congress, after going through all of its prescribed machinations.) before it is accomplished, is disgraceful, and a blight on this countrys' reputation as a nation that keeps its word to its friends. That is horrific.

To say that engaging in the above is just a different way of looking at things, is to say that NAMBLA just has a "different  view" of adult child relationships. They don't. They're sick. They're evil. I despise them. And those ones, "who have a different view of the war" and also serve in congress, should be shot when they are the ones who "represent America" while they spew they're treasonous filth. I do not just disagree with harry reid,I want him to be eviscerated by the lawful execution of a warrant, and inevitable sentence of a just, and interested in its own survival, country, that has lost patience for such hate filled,by proxy murderers of the innocent and the honorable.

When do the terrorists win ? They win every day that traitors work, unimpeded, to assist them in their evil mission. I would like to know when such acts have been purpetrated against the American fighting man, during time of war, without nary a squak, let alone a prison sentence or well earned hanging, being delivered to the prime offenders, the very collaborators of our blood enemy. Did it happen before ? I don't see how we won that war. Lincoln said it,"The Bill of Rights is not a suicide pact",but yet,so many hail the "rights" of them that seek the destruction of an active US military mission, as proof itself, of what an idealistic bunch of target rich morons we are.(I added that last part,or rather, al-kkkeda did.)

See if you can guess when this was recorded before you finished reading.

This is regarding Hugh Hewitts solicitation of legitimate bloggers for an opinion on whether senate republicans should go Grant or McClellan on the Dems. and their obstructionism of judicial nominees, but I'm going to respond anyway.
Being a person who finds it odd,to say the least, that we live in a world where the idea of ending the afforementioned and unprecedented obstructionism by suggesting that there be actual up or down votes on nominees is called "The Nuclear Option", while at the same time it's just good old American free speech for a college professor to advocate the mass murder of innocent civilians, you can probably guess where this is going.
Not being nuanced here at the BoA or overly concerned with senate procedure/decorum, I'd like to see something more "Jenjis Khan-ish" to paraphrase the Senator from the great state of Mass. convusion, but seeing as how the Civil War was the bloodiest military engagement in history up 'til it's time, Grant will do.
All decisions to act must be made with the goal of achieving actual success-that being the casting of votes on brilliant men and women like Estrada and Janice Rodgers Brown- and not just posturing in line with decorum, procedure and tradition. Senator Frist is a wonderful person with a great life story, but his finger waving disappointments of the past just won't suffice and never did. Spectre is a brilliant mind who could disembowel liberties opponents if they were his opponents-he was great in the Clarence Thomas hearings as I recall- but they are his "colleagues" and their slurring of fine nominees will continue on without appropriate response from him. Also, Senator Hatch surrendered his post dutifully so he has less bite now although I do like the idea of Orrin as our front man/pit-bull along the lines of a much more legitemate (sane?) version of Edward K. -who is the number one reason for any cracks in my faith that there is a just God.
That's it for the woulda's, coulda's and what ifs, here's what should happen...if only.
President George Bush uses the bullypulpit and his political capital-which is not finite and could actually be built upon if done right- by bringing the truth and importance of this issue, loud and proud, to the American people when the obstructionists do their thing. No more sitting back and saying "Look at 'em go, everyone'll see what they're all about now". No ! Exploit, with dignity, what we all know the left would exploit were the tables turned."Harry Reid doesn't want Hispanics to succeed in America", "Pat Leahy is oppressing women and blacks". They'll still get re-elected, but at least the people who don't have a chance to vote for them will get a chance to actually see what they are all about. The difference with laughing and pointing being, that their ugliness is vigorously highlighted.
What would be the consequence ? Can the Dems prove that these nominees are actually Bible clutching prudes who want to return us to "jim crowe", sweatshops and start a state run religion ? Make them prove it or shut the hell up.
No matter how docile the right is, we're still tarred as liars, lynch mobs, nazis, starvers of children, advocates for seniors on dog food diets and of course we're always too mean to mass murderers of children/innocents and wanna be assassins of our President. They're going to say these things anyway. They always say these things anyway.Take the fight to them! Being kowed into mentalities like "compassionate conservatism"-as opposed to "regular conservatism" which we all know is where the truly "mean" still reside- has been a detrement to our already faltering morality and to the very security of our great nation.
Americans are starving for a decisive man of action to lead the way. Enemies are enemies, they must be defeated whether it's Sadaam or the radical left in the form of all to many- and unnecessarily- powerful democrats who happen to be fellow citizens by a mistake of birth. You took down Iraqs killer regime, do you think Barbara Boxer is tougher than them ?
Compromises that lead to activists like S.D. O'connor, Souter and Kennedy wreaking havoc on the Constitution can't be allowed to happen anymore if the Republic is to be preserved in some sort of resemblance to what the creators envisioned.Look at all of the "legislating from the bench" that's gone on because the principle of insisting that strict constitutionalists be given a fair chance has been subordinated to politics and the whimsy of peoples feelings."If you can't see the Constitution as a 'living breathing document', then how sensitive can you be to the plight of the downtrodden when called upon to do what's right for the sake of the whole?", is the kind of inanities we are left with.
Activist judges have changed the direction of this country forever while potential giants like Scalia and worse yet, Bork, have been defanged and rendered all but or totally inefective but for the honor of the fight.
So I say let 'em have it with both barrels blazin' and when you run out, reload and keep on firing. Screw "nuclear", go Armageddon on their a***s.
For the benefit of my regular reader, Hugh Hewitt is a monster in the world of political opinion- with millions of listeners- who also writes books that sell into the multiples of many thousands, something we wouldn't know about here. Feb. - 25th - 2005

Keep a good thought for Airman Shrieken

There is a set of plainly stated facts in this column by Lorie Byrd at Wizbang blog.

They have a great blog over there and link to the absolute cream of the blog world. This story includes much of that solid sourcing. As for the story itself, may you please say a prayer for Airman Jonathan Schrieken ? He is much more deserving of American support and attention than the scum at Gitmo, his assailant (if the media even mentions this story, how much do you wanna bet they show the would be killer in a sympathetic light ?) or any of your garden variety purveyors of nonsense on what has become the average episode(ic) of Hannity and Colmes or any other "news" program.("Tragedy TV" as Laura Ingraham likes to call it.) God bless, and keep you from any further unnecessary harm, Airman Schrieken

And here's to truth in the lapdog, advocate, home of the leftwing extremists, mouthpiece for the DNC, mainstre....Holy crap, what am I saying? Honesty from those creeps? I've been engaging leftwing wack jobs too much, the delusional is rubbing off on me, ugh.

"Why Care About Injustice" says Michael Deadcred

About 12 minutes into hour 1 of his show on Thursday, Michael Deadcred enlightens us with his view of justice for "Scooter" Libby. Deadcreds theory? Who cares. He has even stated in one of his columns that it is a big "yawn". Gee, the Clinton administration could have really used this guy when they were using our best as stormtroopers to kidnap a little boy from freedom and return him to Catros swirling stewpot of hell on earth, Cuba. God help Alien Gonzalez ! And may He touch the conscience of Mr. Deadcred.

Way to go Deadcred ! Congradulations on maintaining your perfect record of NEVER besmirching ANYTHING this administration does, no matter how perverse. Dee-sgusting!

No Hugh Hewitt, I am Not a Racist

Hugh Hewitt called me a racist today on his radio show. He called you a racist too...if you have made "conclusory" statements about convicted border agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean that is. (Unfortunately,it seems sometimes as though, Hugh Hewitt is more concerned with what some charlatan, lurking in the bushes, might be waiting to say about him than just speaking frankly on a subject and letting the cards fall where they may.)

Please explain to us Mr. Hewitt, why it is that you scream 'racism'  sometimes when you decide that someone is "banging pots and pans" in a manner of which you disaprove ? And considering that people with spanish surnames are on both sides of this issue, how is it that anyone is racist here ? Michael Jackson and O.J. were acuitted. I've heard you say that they are guilty. Are you a racist ? Of course not, you made a reasonable assessment of the facts available to you and came to a conclusion. That is what people are doing regarding this case.

This is a case that is of such importance,I cannot imagine your seeming lack of curiosity. United States congressmen have been making public statements to the affect that these two are completely innocent, or at worst, guilty of a simple procedural infraction and all you can say is,"I'm the lawyer folks! People just don't get convicted for nothing, okay all you racist pots and pans bangers ?" Sorry Mr. H.,but that just does not wash. It also doesn't square with your, in the midst of this same tirade, insistence that we don't really know anything on either account. (Just a little aside here: Rush Limbaugh; The Duke lacrosse team; "Scooter" Libby; Sandy Burglar: Do you really want to flash the "Justice doesn't get railroaded" card with the current state of American jurisprudence ?)

These are the kinds of actions that get (some) people thinking about ulterior motives. You're all over the place. I am a great admirer of yours and sympathize with the task of having to speak for 15 hours a week, and still not make any mistakes of signifigance. I just would like to see once, someone, anyone step up to the mic and say,"Well, I was out of line with that stuff the other day.I had a preconcieved notion due to my life experiences and it was wrong to assume anything about something that I truly don't know that much about.I appologize" Would that kill ones credibility with the public, or strengthen it ? I wonder.

My awareness, like that of intellectual titan Rush Limbaugh, of what is going on in America is greatly enhanced by your presence on the scene and I thank you for that. I look forward to hearing a more open,if not so vigilante, mind on the matter of what I, and so many others, view as the cause of two possibly unsung, and most assuredly horribly mistreated, patriots of our great and noble nation, America.

p.s. I am not a racist. And I don't run from the path of someone calling me one.

One of "The Border Two Few" Beaten in Prison

This story in the Dallas Morning News, reports that former border agent, Ignacio Ramos, was beaten severely over the weekend in his cell.

Why can't these men,Ramos and Alonso Compean, be allowed to appeal from the safety of their own homes ? They pose no threat to any law abiding people. What is persecutor Sutton and the Bush administration afraid of from these two "dangerous criminals" ? Certainly, far more dangerous criminals than these two have been allowed to appeal their cases in relative freedom - after posting a bond, with a "ankle bracelet" -why are they so exceptional ?

With a story so compelling, it boggles my mind as to why virtually none of the big, less bombastic, radio conservatives will take this on. If it is such a great example of the American justice system, then why not sing the praises of it's execution ?

This whole thing stinks and I pray that Rep. Tancredo can affect some sort of positive action in this whole thing. Where's Rush ? Can anyone out there get to him on air so at least it gets some national attention ?

Please go to
this site in support of them and send a message to president bush. Let him know that, just as the American Fighting Man cannot be expected to be successful when those who should be supporting him are putting through cowardly resolutions, neither can our border agents be expected to do their job when they know they could be locked up for making an erreor in judjement. I'm praying for pres. Bush too. I'm praying that my monumental sense of disappointment in him will come to an end.

Dear Mr. President re: "The Border Two Few"

This is my plea for justice, to President Bush. Go here to do the same.
 Mr. President,
I believe that you are a man who cares about justice. From everything that I've learned about this case,it is at least hugely questionable that these men recieved justice and I am 100% foursquare in my conviction that it is a travesty for them to be sentenced so harshly and without the right to remain free while they appeal this decision.

Mr. President,I plead for you to awaken my faith in you and your administration,as it was shattered with the news of this event.Don't wait until hours before your leaving,to pardon these two patriots, like others have done for the sake of criminals.Stand up proudly before the American people and make the statement that the sentries at the gate -the ones protecting us from the evil of drug smugglers,cop-killers and even terrorists as in 2000 with the "Millenium Bomber"- are one with national security and they will not be forsaken by you,and if you can set it into law,by any other administration in the future.

Do this and you will have my allegiance and the loyalty of millions more. But most importantly, you will be acting in a very just and noble way on behalf of the cause of liberty and American security.

Feel free to use it if you like. 2spot

Also, this video from last September is amazing.

Medved Hypocrisy: Full Speed Ahead !

Today on the Medved show your intrepid host referred to imprisoned border agents, Ramos & Compean, in sympathetic tones and insisted that he had not read any official court transcript. He also did not mention any of the other very easy to find info that indicates the very strong possibility these two patriots are being railroaded. So, apparently this is a case that doesn't warrant Mr. Medveds' attention.

Then, just as the show was ending, he made sure to make a point of how Ramos and Compean were guilty as charged and convicted by a jury of their peers. They did terrible things he said, including destroying evidence.

So which is it Mr. Medved. You don't really know much about this or you are fully informed enough to take the word of a drug smuggler and accept that there is nothing fishy going on here ?

Your credibilty is damaged by this "sloppyness" and I will be taking your future statements of fact on other issues with a grain of salt. On this case you have no credibility.

The so called justice system has been known to perpetrate travesties constantly in recent times. From the Sandy Burglar case to so many more that I would have carple tunnel just trying to recount those from the last year here. Yet you accept this one, so full of doubt to even the slightest of glances, as perfect justice.

  I am truly disappointed.

Why the Medved Cred has Fled

Medved says border agents Ramos & Compean are guilty and deserve what they got. Why not sing the praises of this great action of the US "justice" sytem then Mr. Medved ? I'll tell you why. Because it is an embrassment and that is why you won't take calls on it from people who want real justice for these two patriots.

One can only imagine how much success we would have at the border regarding real criminal activity if the powers that be were to pursue those bringing chemical death to our kids as hard as they went after Ramos and Compean. It makes any common sense patriot sick to think of so called Americans giving immunity to a repeat and continuing killer of human souls, just so he can testify against two men, (whose experience is a lesson to their former coworkers not to persue criminals) put them in jail and then sue the US treasury for millions more on top of the waste that the trial amounted to. I mean, they sought this scum out, and volunterred immunity for his testimony.

A nation that does this is self destructive and bordering on suicidal. Considering the anti-Americanism on display in congress everyday I am not surprised but it is not a little disenchanting to see a person I view as a champion of the good, the ethical, the virtuous, to so blatantly avoid a story of this much importance to national security.

So Michael Medved, if this is a great and wonderful example of the American justice system, why aren't you having entire programs on the subject ? I mean, after you get to the horrors of "tagging" and deep behind the mystery of "Bigfoot". You're not the only one, I know, but it is somehow more offensive when someone of your cutting clarity on many issues, is so willing to bury a terrible injustice under the rug for the sake of...for the sake of... Say, what did the president talk to you guys about during your visit to Washington D.C. last year ? Hugh Hewitt and Laura Ingraham don't mention this either.

I'm not suggesting anything, I just want an answer. Two American patriots, former border agents Ramos and Compean, are paying the price of 11 and 12 years of their freedom, which will virtually destroy their lives and the lives of their children, for what amounts to a procedural error in judgment, and you are virtually silent in the crusade to liberate them / won't show us what dangerous criminals they are and that we need to be protected from them.

I see this as a blemish on what could be a near 100% record when it comes to your fearless defense of those who protect us from evil, and it disturbs me because I hear no explanation. A case of this magnitude demands one, no, it screams for one.  When one considers what a truly chilling affect this will have on border enforcement, one can't help but wonder if there are ulterior motives involved.

Former border agents Ramos and Compean, as I have read on
this site in support of them, have exemplary records and have recently been the victims of false rumors spread by whoever wishes for them to just go away and rot in their cells. That is horrific, and not anything that makes me proud to be an American.

This one event has caused me to lose faith in my president and is as demoralizing as the Alien Gonzalez attrocity, which still haunts this countries collective conscience, and I do not want to give up the belief that my country is a more just, than unjust, nation.

The Duke "rape" case, Scooter Libby (You called Fitzgerald a "Great American" when he charged Libby. Have you ever retracted that ?), child molesters being let loose upon helpless children everyday, the Rush Limbaugh witchhunt are just a few among many crimes against the citizenry occuring everyday in the name of the law. And now this. Please explain to us why we should think of this as justice, because I just don't see it.

But I do see you running away from the subject and acting like it doesn't exist.
